As someone who had never carved a woodblock before, I found how beginner-friendly the classes were very nice for someone like me. It was very in-depth and helped me prepare for the big in-person print day. Printing was so much fun, and everyone was so amazing. I had an overall great time! I can’t wait to use what I learned from this course and apply it when I start carving my next woodblock.

Through much of Lyell’s very thoughtful planning and ingenuity, we could all come together and celebrate what we had carved in our own spaces, whatever they may be. I felt very supported in the whole process and good chance will do it again!
