This piece is about challenges, choices and change. Two fish are caught in a roiling sea. One decides to leap beyond its boundaries to see what lies beyond. As it leaps, it turns into a dragon and takes flight. Its partner watches from the sea, in wonder as its friend learns to fly. I wanted to depict the moment of change, and the awe of a moment where the risk has been taken. As viewers, can we believe that magic can happen once we take that leap? – Sandi Bonn
