This is your first sighting of the mythical Pufferkeet, part pufferfish, part parakeet.  As critters go, the Pufferkeet is an enigma.  Sure, the spikes are intimidating.  They signal to others to stay back!  But the eye tells another story.  It beckons the viewer closer to gaze upon a pricky countenance.  Watch out, or you may fall for this adorable critter.

This image was conceived, carved, and printed by Lyell Castonguay.  Each sheet of paper has randomly distributed bark inclusions, so each Pufferkeet print is unique.  The artwork is hand-signed by the artist.  If you enjoy the Pufferkeet, check out Toadadillo and Vampire Tiger Tuna.  Everyone needs a special friend.
