“The Frog Does Not Drink…” is inspired from a proverb. It has been attributed to the Navajo, however, there are similar sentiments in other cultures. It is a comment about overuse of the land and the planet. The frog drinks only what it needs to survive. If it overuses, it will be out of a place to live. This proverb begs us to learn from this little amphibian and not overuse the resources that we need to call the planet
our home. – Johanna Finnegan-Topitzer
