Whiteaker Printmakers

BIG INK facilitates large woodblock printing in Eugene, OR.

Whiteaker Printmakers resides in the Cox Cannery in Eugene, OR’s eclectic Whiteaker neighborhood. With a ground floor main studio and an upstairs annex, it combines to provide 2400 square feet of workspace with high ceilings, lots of natural light, and plenty of parking.  Their facilities accommodate a variety of printmaking techniques such as etching, woodcut, monotype, collagraph, screenprint and letterpress.  They provide many inks and supplies for communal use and offer plate materials for sale at cost.  Whiteaker is dedicated to a working environment that follows the latest in sustainable, non-toxic printmaking practices.  They offers a variety of workshops and print-oriented community art events and are often open to the public during the Last Friday Art Walks to demonstrate printmaking techniques and exhibit members’ works.  Below is a selection of prints created at Whiteaker Printmakers by BIG INK participants.
